Editorial Policy
This policy explains the standards behind every article on BISP Help. Our goal is simple: useful, honest, verifiable information for everyday Pakistani readers — and never misleading content.
1. Independence
We are an independent website. We are not paid by BISP, by any political party, or by any agency to write about or promote anything. Our content is not influenced by advertisers (we do not run ads that trade accuracy for revenue) or by any third party.
2. Accuracy and verification
- We base articles on official BISP announcements, the official portal, and widely reported official information.
- Where a fact is likely to change (payment dates, amounts, helpline numbers, eligibility thresholds), we say so and tell readers to verify through official channels.
- We never invent official details to make an article look complete.
- When we are unsure, we say we are unsure — speculation is clearly labelled, not presented as fact.
3. Corrections
If you find an error, tell us. When we confirm an error we correct it promptly and note the correction date on the article. Readers who point out errors help us improve, and we appreciate it.
4. Tone
Content is written to be clear, calm, respectful, and easy to read on a phone. We avoid political opinions, sensational claims, clickbait headlines, and fear-based language. We never promise payments or eligibility.
5. Sources and transparency
Wherever possible, articles link to official sources so readers can verify for themselves. We clearly label our own explanations as our own and distinguish them from official announcements.
6. Reader safety
We actively warn readers about scams: agents who demand fees, fake “guaranteed” registration services, and requests for CNIC copies, bank details, or OTPs. We never collect such information ourselves.
7. AI assistance
We may use AI tools to help draft content. Every article is reviewed, fact-checked, and edited by a human before publication. See our AI Content Policy for the full details.
8. Privacy of readers
We do not profile readers or use content for political targeting. Our data practices are described in our Privacy Policy.
