Accessibility

BISP Help aims to be useful to everyone, including people with disabilities. This page explains what we do and how to get help if something is hard to use.

Our goal

We want our guides to be easy to read and navigate on any device, and to work with assistive technologies such as screen readers and keyboard navigation. We build and check the site with accessibility in mind, and we keep improving it.

What we do

  • Use clear, plain language and meaningful headings so content is easy to scan.
  • Keep good colour contrast between text and backgrounds.
  • Make the site usable with a keyboard alone, including the mobile menu and search.
  • Add descriptive text alternatives to meaningful images.
  • Use standard, well-labelled form fields on the contact and newsletter forms.
  • Respect the browser's reduced-motion setting (animations are minimized when enabled).

Known limits

We are an independent site with limited resources, and some pages may not be fully accessible yet. Where we find a problem, we fix it as soon as we can. We are honest about this in our Editorial Policy.

Get help or report a problem

If you cannot access part of this website, or if something is hard to use, please contact us and describe the problem — for example the page, the device or browser you use, and what happened. We will do our best to help and to fix the issue.
